Colour & Finishing Availability
IMG_1821.JPG

Featured: Mesh printed on nylon material in the standard colour, along with a mechanical arm sample showcasing the high-quality finish and paint standard that can be achieved.

All parts of the technology are built in a shade of grey or off white due to the black fusing agent used in Multi Jet Fusion

At iO3D we offer to dye parts to create a consistent black finish rather than the default grey using synthetic nylon dye.

Painting is not recommended; dyeing preserves dimensional accuracy.

Similar to other 3D printing processes, cosmetic finishing is achievable in parts built with Multi Jet Fusion (paint, primer, texture matching, smoothing, etc.).

The average surface finish of Multi Jet Fusion is 3.18-6.35 micrometers RA finish. Surfaces can be hand sanded or tumbled for a smoother finish.

Biocompatibility / Food Contact

No HP 3D materials are currently designed or approved for direct or indirect food contact applications and accordingly they should not be used for food applications or direct and indirect food contact applications.
